National Testing Agency releases UGC NET re-exam answer keys
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys for the UGC NET June 2026 re-examinations in English, Commerce, and Sociology. These re-exams were conducted after an expert committee identified “substantive issues” in the original question papers, including typographical errors, factual mistakes, translation inaccuracies, and garbled book titles.
Candidates who participated in the re-examination are not required to pay additional examination fees. Those wishing to challenge the provisional answer keys must do so online via the official website by September 13, 2026, at 11:59 PM. A fee of Rs 200 per challenged question is required, though this fee will be fully refunded if the subject experts accept the objection. Challenges submitted via email, fax, or letter will not be considered.
