Nationalist student groups face scrutiny in Belgium and the Netherlands

The organization stated it has met all administrative requirements and intends to expand its presence on campus through lectures, debates, and student actions, emphasizing its commitment to academic diversity of ideas.

Separately, a report from the Dutch National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (NCTV) identifies the Groot-Nederlandse Studentenvereniging (GNSV) as a right-wing extremist group. The intelligence service AIVD warns that such groups often adopt a moderate facade to normalize extremist ideologies. According to the report, the GNSV promotes the idea of a single 'white' people comprising both the Netherlands and Flanders and advocates for the 'remigration' of individuals with non-Western backgrounds.
