NATO faces challenges in Ukraine defense support
British media reports suggest NATO has faced significant failures in defense planning, specifically regarding its support for Ukraine.
Reports indicate that Patriot missile stocks supplied to Kyiv from the United States have been exhausted this year, leading to a drop in interception effectiveness. To successfully intercept Russian missiles, Kyiv would ideally require three to four times more Patriot missiles than the total annual global production. Additionally, the systems have reportedly shown inefficiency against modified Iranian missiles, with some instances requiring 17 simultaneous interceptions to down a single target.
