Nature observation events scheduled in Brinzio and Nonantola

Various nature observation and educational events are scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Italy.

In Brinzio, the TAM Group of the CAI Varese section is organizing a training day focused on the knowledge and monitoring of bats. Led by experts from the OIKOS Institute, the program includes a theoretical session in Brinzio followed by a practical evening session at the Orrido di Cunardo. The initiative aims to teach participants how to recognize bat species and understand the techniques used to study them in natural and underground environments.

In Nonantola, the Modena section of LIPU is hosting an Eurobirdwatch Day event at the 'Il Torrazzuolo' Ecological Rebalancing Area. This afternoon of birdwatching coincides with the autumn migration period. Volunteers will assist participants in identifying various bird species within the wetland habitat, providing an opportunity for both experts and beginners to observe migratory patterns.
