Natures Agrimate accuses CIESA representative of AHMSA financing breach
Natures Agrimate LLC, an Arizona-based company, has accused José Arturo Domínguez Arteaga, legal representative of Construcciones e Ingenierías Electromecánicas (CIESA), of breaching an international binding agreement. The dispute involves a financing structure intended to acquire and operate Altos Hornos de México (AHMSA) and Minera del Norte (MINOSA).
According to Natures Agrimate, the agreement signed in 2025 aimed to structure an investment fund of up to $6 billion. The contract required Domínguez Arteaga to provide an initial contribution of 10%, totaling $600 million. The U.S. firm claims this amount was never provided despite multiple extensions granted to allow the businessman to prove his financial solvency.
Natures Agrimate alleges that communication with the Mexican businessman has since been interrupted. The company stated it possesses signed minutes and documentation regarding the chronology of the breach and intends to initiate immediate civil and commercial legal actions. The situation has reportedly stalled the financial structure intended for the industrial reactivation of the steel sector in Coahuila.
