Naucalpan announces 500 million peso investment in public security

Isaac Montoya Márquez, the municipal president of Naucalpan, has announced an investment exceeding 500 million pesos to enhance public security. The funds will be used to acquire more than 400 patrol cars and strengthen the video surveillance system and the Control, Command, Communication, and Computing Center (C4).

Montoya Márquez noted that the municipality currently possesses over 400 units, an increase from the 139 units available under the previous administration. The strategy also includes strengthening the police academy and hiring 200 new officers to improve response capacity.

Beyond technology and equipment, the administration is implementing a proximity security model. This approach aims to foster direct contact between police officers and residents, requiring sector chiefs to maintain availability and communication with neighbors to build community trust.
