Naucalpan begins rehabilitation of Camino a Santiago Tepatlaxco
The municipal government of Naucalpan has launched a comprehensive rehabilitation project for the Camino a Santiago Tepatlaxco. Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez announced the start of works on the section between Calle de la Rosa and Calle Pino, noting that previous efforts had only addressed superficial issues like minor pothole repairs.
The current intervention involves deep and superficial pothole repair, asphalt resurfacing with a seven-centimeter layer of mixture, and horizontal striping. To enhance safety and visibility, the project also includes the installation of new street lighting, signage, and speed reducers at strategic points.
Although the road does not fall under direct municipal jurisdiction, the local government decided to intervene due to its vital importance for residents and commuters traveling to neighboring municipalities. A second stage is planned to extend the improvements toward Rincón Verde.
