Naucalpan inaugurates 3.2-kilometer safe path and new C2 center
Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez has inaugurated a 3.2-kilometer ‘Safe and Bright Path’ along 16 de Septiembre Avenue in central Naucalpan. The project included the installation of over 300 luminaries and streetlights to improve mobility and safety for both pedestrians and motorists.
As part of the initiative, a new Command and Control Center (C2) has been established in a facility that had been abandoned for several years. This center is intended to strengthen surveillance and citizen assistance within the municipal seat, directly benefiting approximately 1,355 local residents.
The infrastructure works involved road surface repairs, sidewalk improvements, masonry, painting, and waterproofing. Mayor Montoya Márquez stated that these actions aim to address historical infrastructure deficits and improve the quality of life by recovering public spaces and rehabilitating heavily trafficked thoroughfares.
