Naughty Dog completes cinematic filming for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet

Naughty Dog has announced that it has completed the cinematic motion-capture filming for its upcoming sci-fi title, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. The studio shared the update via social media, describing the shoot as “very ambitious” and featuring actress Tati Gabrielle, who portrays the protagonist, bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun.

The announcement includes a nod to the anime Cowboy Bebop with the phrase “See you, space cowboy...”, signaling the game’s stylistic influences. While this milestone marks significant progress in the production of the PlayStation 5 exclusive, the studio noted that it will share more details “when the time is right.”

Speculation is growing among fans regarding a potential reveal during Sony’s upcoming State of Play event scheduled for September 3. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, which has been in development since 2020, is described by creative director Neil Druckmann as the studio’s most expansive project to date, set thousands of years in the future on the isolated planet of Sempiria.
