In separate incidents in Spain, authorities have intervened in cases involving the welfare of minors.

In Seville, the National Police arrested two parents after discovering their three children, aged one, three, and five, alone in an unsanitary home. Neighbors alerted police after hearing the children crying for several hours. Officers found the children in a residence with high levels of dirt, cockroaches, and a lack of basic necessities like clothing. Dangerous objects, including knives and blades, were also found within reach of the unsupervised children. The parents were located nearby in an evident state of intoxication while consuming alcohol. The children were taken to the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital for medical assessment.

In Navarra, the Policía Foral rescued a six-year-old child from a foster care center in Pamplona. The child had been taken by family members who fled in a stolen vehicle. Following a high-speed pursuit and a specialized police intervention in Cascante, the child was recovered in good condition. Two individuals were arrested, and others are under investigation for the abduction and the theft of the vehicle.
