Navarre Towns Unveil Summer Festival Programs with €144k Budget

Local authorities in Navarre have launched a series of summer festival events. On August 1, towns such as Arguedas, Bera, Estella, Etxarri‑Aranatz and others hosted concerts, traditional dances, children's activities and evening DJ sessions, with detailed schedules for each locality.

In the town of Altsasu, the municipal council approved a budget of €144,147 for the festival season, covering more than 70 activities over five days. More than half of the funds (€73,889) are earmarked for musical groups and concerts, with additional allocations for sound and lighting equipment, animation, and production. The program includes performances by local dance companies, tribute concerts to popular artists, and nightly DJ sessions. Mayor Javier Ollo noted the council’s financial support and the use of municipal facilities for the events.
