Naveen Patnaik condemns alleged BJP vandalism in Odisha

Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik has condemned alleged vandalism at the Satyabadi block government office in Odisha's Puri district. Patnaik accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers of entering the premises and causing chaos, questioning why the state government is “patronising” such anarchy.

The unrest at the Satyabadi office reportedly occurred in response to controversial remarks made by Block Chairman Sunil Kumar Panda, who was accused of referring to government employees as “dogs.” This incident follows other reports of alleged disruptions at government offices in Bhubaneswar, Kendrapara, Atgarh, and Jatni.

During a Jan Sampark Padayatra in Bhubaneswar, Patnaik also criticized the BJP-led government for incompetence, alleging that the administration is focused on party growth rather than state development. He stated that rising commodity prices and government indifference are causing distress to farmers, women, and senior citizens, claiming the future of Gen Z is in jeopardy under the current leadership.
