Nawodna and Wysoka Wielka host large local festivals

On Saturday, 27 June 2026, the village of Nawodna in western Poland turned its sports field into a cultural hub. Residents and visitors took part in a historic festivity titled “Śladami Barnima”, featuring a medieval‑knight reenactment, a reading of a letter from Prince Barnim, heraldry workshops and a lecture on the Templars by Dr M. Gierke. The afternoon program was financed by the National Institute of Freedom’s civic‑initiative fund. From 19:30 a concert by the band Rewir began the evening’s entertainment, followed by a dance session led by DJ Daniel Janecki‑Skrobas that lasted into the early hours. The event also offered inflatables, pony rides, a photo exhibition, and regional food such as grochówka and grilled dishes.

Later, on 22 August, the nearby village of Wysoka Wielka will host the county‑municipal harvest celebration (Powiatowo‑Gminne Dożynki). The program includes a field mass with musical accompaniment from the Kutno municipal orchestra, a colorful harvest parade, and performances by local folk groups. Evening concerts will feature Polish pop acts Power Play, Konstanty Drążek and Top One. Additional attractions include stalls of regional specialties run by women’s‑circle groups, children’s activities and other surprises, making the event a focal point for the Kutno district’s summer festivities.
