NaxosLegge festival to feature Culture Minister Alessandro Giuli

The sixteenth edition of the NaxosLegge festival is scheduled to take place from September 10 to 18. The event will be inaugurated on September 11 with the presentation of a book by the Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli, titled ‘Venne la Magna Madre. I riti, il culto e l’azione di Cibele Romana’.

The festival, themed ‘Mythos. La sfida del pensiero mitico’, is supported by the Naxos Taormina Archaeological Park and the Fondazione Sicilia. As part of the opening ceremonies, the ‘Promotori della Cultura’ award, named after Franz Riccobono, will be presented to several cultural figures, including poet Giuseppe Conte, political scientist Marco Tarchi, and the Romanian Ambassador to Italy, Gabriela Dancau.
