Mexican state officials present legislative and government reports

Various Mexican state officials and legislators are conducting accountability exercises through reports of their activities and government results.

In San Luis Potosí, Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona presented his Fifth Government Report, highlighting investments in infrastructure, mobility, education, and social programs. The Alianza Empresarial Potosina expressed support for these developments, noting a potential for increased regional growth, while also monitoring the execution of 10 billion pesos earmarked for infrastructure. However, reports noted that a highlighted educational achievement—the payment of 206 million pesos to the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP)—was actually the settlement of a debt accumulated during 2025.

In Michoacán, deputies Nalleli Pedraza Huerta and Hugo Rangel Vargas presented their second legislative reports, focusing on disability rights, mobility, and social management. Additionally, the state government reported the completion of four major road distributors in Morelia to improve urban traffic.

In Zacatecas, Governor David Monreal Ávila supported the second report of Sombrerete Mayor Ramiro Hinojoza, noting the municipality's progress in reducing public debt. Meanwhile, in Nayarit, the state legislature received the Fifth Government Report from Governor Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero for upcoming analysis. In Baja California, the Governing Commission approved nine legislative dictums, including constitutional reforms regarding the judiciary and housing rights.
