NBEMS releases NEET PG 2026 results and cutoff marks

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the results and cutoff marks for the NEET PG 2026 examination. The exam was conducted on August 30, 2026.

The top-ranking candidate (AIR 1) achieved a score of 641 out of 720. The top 20 candidates scored within a range of 614 to 641 marks. Analysis of the results shows that small score variations can lead to significant changes in All India Rank (AIR); for instance, a score of 600 places a candidate in the AIR 101–200 zone, while 508 marks corresponds to approximately AIR 10,000.

Qualifying cutoffs have been established by category to determine eligibility for MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB, and DrNB counseling. The General/EWS category requires a 50th percentile (262 marks), General PwBD requires a 45th percentile (244 marks), and SC/ST/OBC categories require a 40th percentile (226 marks). Candidates who meet these criteria can proceed to the medical admission counseling process.
