NBEMS to release NEET PG 2026 results by September 30

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to declare the NEET PG 2026 results by September 30, 2026. The examination was conducted on August 30, with over 2.65 lakh candidates appearing across 1,111 centres. A re-examination was held on September 5 for 2,445 candidates in Jaipur following a technical disruption caused by an internal power failure at two centres in the Sitapura area.

While the result date is established, candidates are currently awaiting the release of the final answer key and response sheets. NBEMS has indicated that the answer key is expected to be released before the final results, though an exact time has not been specified.

In a separate development regarding medical entrance standards, the NBEMS has lowered the qualifying percentile for the NEET SS 2025 examination from the 50th to the 30th percentile. This decision follows a Supreme Court order aimed at fostering greater inclusivity and fairness in the selection process for postgraduate medical admissions.
