NC Dinos select 12 players in 2027 KBO Rookie Draft

The NC Dinos selected 12 players during the 2027 KBO Rookie Draft, headlined by outfielder Park Bo-seung from Gyeongnam High School. Selected with the 6th overall pick in the first round, Park is viewed as a potential starting center fielder due to his ability as a ‘5-tool player’ and his experience with the U-18 national team.

NC General Manager Lim Sun-nam expressed satisfaction with the draft, noting that the team successfully secured several top candidates according to their strategic plan. The selections included six pitchers, one catcher, three infielders, and two outfielders. Other notable picks include second-round infielder Woo Ju-ro and third-round left-handed pitcher Lim Jun-won.

The team's focus on Park Bo-seung aims to address long-standing needs in the center field position following previous trades and foreign player rotations. The draft class is characterized by a mix of power hitters and pitchers with stable control.
