2027 KBO Rookie Draft

Overview

The 2027 KBO Rookie Draft took place in Seoul, with various teams selecting players to bolster their rosters.

On September 21, the Doosan Bears selected infielder Kim Ji-woo with the second overall pick in the first round. Kim, a prospect from Seoul High School, is noted for his power potential and a .422 batting average. In the second round, the KT Wiz selected veteran hitter Choi Ji-man, who was bypassed by other teams due to concerns regarding his knee health.

Following these selections, the NC Dinos announced their draft results, having selected 12 players. Their first-round pick, outfielder Park Bo-seung, was taken sixth overall. The Dinos' selections included six pitchers, one catcher, three infielders, and two outfielders, a strategy intended to address specific positional needs such as center field.
