NCDMB conducts leadership and media capacity building workshops
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has conducted several capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening professional skills and industry awareness within Nigeria.
In Abuja, the NCDMB sponsored a five-day training program on smart leadership and staff management. The workshop, held from October 12 to October 16, 2026, was designed to improve managerial capacities and bridge communication gaps between the government and the public. Participants from both the public and private sectors were encouraged to apply new skills to enhance organizational development and professional performance.
Additionally, the NCDMB held its first Nigerian Content Capacity Building Workshop for Media Stakeholders in Awka, Anambra State. During this session, the Board urged journalists to promote local content by highlighting business opportunities in the oil and gas sector, investigating compliance with local content laws, and reporting on the industry’s impact on host communities. The initiative aims to deepen understanding of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act of 2010 and ensure indigenous businesses and professionals are better informed of available opportunities.
