NDC South-East group targets one million votes in FCT for 2027

The South-East chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has announced a goal to mobilize at least one million voters for the party’s 2027 presidential ticket. The ticket features Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.

During a solidarity visit to NDC National Vice Chairman Teddy Obey, FCT South-East NDC Chairman Mike Nwosu stated that the group intends to unite people of South-East extraction living in Abuja under the NDC platform. Nwosu emphasized that the region seeks to reciprocate the party’s decision to nominate a presidential candidate from the South-East by ensuring a massive victory in the upcoming general elections.

Party representatives noted that the mobilization drive is a response to the demand for greater political inclusion for the South-East region in national leadership.
