Neamț police conduct safety operations at local schools

Police and gendarmerie units from the Neamț County Inspectorate conducted an integrated safety operation at several educational institutions on September 11. The action targeted the Technical College of Transport, the ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’ Economic High School, and the Forestry Technical College.

During the operation, authorities held nine preventive activities involving 230 students and 10 teaching staff members. Topics addressed included juvenile delinquency, drug trafficking prevention, bullying, cyberbullying, and cybercrime. Students were also instructed on responsible behavior regarding upcoming social events.

Law enforcement officials checked 43 individuals, including 22 students, and inspected nine economic entities. Security personnel at the schools received training, and police conducted traffic checks near the schools to promote safe driving. No criminal offenses were reported during the operation.
