Police safety operations in Neamț schools

On September 11, police and gendarmerie units from the Neamț County Inspectorate conducted an integrated safety operation at several educational institutions, including the Technical College of Transport, the ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’ Economic High School, and the Forestry Technical College.

The operation involved nine preventive activities targeting 230 students and 10 teaching staff members. Discussions focused on juvenile delinquency, drug trafficking prevention, bullying, cyberbullying, and cybercrime. Authorities also conducted traffic checks near the schools and inspected nine economic entities. No criminal offenses were reported during the operation.

As part of Crime Prevention Week, police from the Neamț County Police Inspectorate continued preventive and educational activities in schools across Piatra-Neamț, Vânători-Neamț, and Secuieni. Officers met with students at institutions such as the Gheorghe Cartianu Technical College and Arh. Chiriac Neculau Technological High School. These sessions addressed the risks of drug consumption and the legal consequences of drug trafficking, specifically focusing on peer pressure, the influence of social circles, and encouraging youth to seek help in risky situations.
