Eredivisie clubs face injury and scheduling challenges after international break

Dutch football clubs face various challenges as the Eredivisie resumes following a lengthy international break.

Feyenoord prepares for a demanding schedule, including eight matches across the Eredivisie and Champions League. The club faces potential injury concerns with players like Tsuyoshi Watanabe and Anis Hadj Moussa returning with fitness doubts.

PSV Eindhoven is also managing significant squad issues. Manager Peter Bosz is dealing with numerous injuries, including Ricardo Pepi and several others, while navigating the fatigue of the international calendar. The club is considering registering Mikkel Bro Hansen with UEFA to replace the injured Alassane Pléa.

Ajax is seeing the return of defender Aaron Bouwman to training after a serious injury, which provides more options for manager Míchel Sánchez ahead of their match against NEC. NEC, meanwhile, expects the return of goalkeeper Gonzalo Crettaz but continues to manage a large number of players in the medical room.
