Necmi Sezer announces re-election bid for İpsala Commodity Exchange

Necmi Sezer has announced his candidacy for re-election as the President of the İpsala Commodity Exchange (İpsala Ticaret Borsası) in the upcoming elections scheduled for October 1.

Reflecting on his tenure since October 2022, Sezer highlighted several key achievements, including contributions to the establishment of the İpsala Organized Industrial Zone and efforts to increase regional employment. He also noted the expansion of the exchange's service capacity, the acquisition of new vehicles, and the completion of laboratory and service building projects.

Additionally, Sezer discussed efforts to secure geographical indication status for İpsala rice, both nationally and within the European Union, in collaboration with the Keşan Chamber of Commerce. He also emphasized the exchange's role in providing aid to earthquake-affected regions following the Kahramanmaraş disasters.
