Nedakusi Business Zone joins European industrial park network

The Nedakusi Business Zone in Bijelo Polje has become the first entity from Montenegro to join the European network of industrial parks. This was achieved through the signing of a memorandum of understanding under the Western Balkans Industrial Parks Partnership and European Union initiative.

Signed during the Montenegro Economy Conference in Budva, the agreement aims to connect local businesses with European companies and investors. The partnership, facilitated by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), is part of the Berlin Process and the Action Plan for a Common Regional Market 2025–2028. It seeks to integrate regional industries into European value chains and promote the exchange of green practices and circular economy standards.

The initiative involves cooperation with industrial parks, innovation centers, and development agencies from countries including Austria, Germany, and Slovenia. Officials noted that the partnership will help local firms deepen their ties to the European industrial sector and prepare for joint projects involving EU funds.
