NEET PG 2026 Exam Schedule and Application Deadline

The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has outlined the timeline for the NEET PG 2026 postgraduate medical entrance exam. Notification is expected in January‑February 2026, with the application window opening in February and closing on 21 July 2026. Candidates must apply through the official portal at natboard.edu.in and pay an application fee of ₹3,500 for general category applicants or ₹2,500 for SC/ST/PD candidates.

The exam is to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). While earlier projections placed the test in the first half of the year, the NTA has announced a specific date of 30 August 2026. Admit cards will be released about 10‑12 days before the exam, and the result is expected a few weeks after the test. Eligibility is limited to MBBS graduates and final‑year MBBS students.
