NEET UG 2026: Merit list updates for Telangana and Maharashtra

Medical admission processes for NEET UG 2026 are progressing in Telangana and Maharashtra.

In Telangana, KNRUHS has closed registration for NEET UG counselling under the Competent Quota as of August 20. The institution is expected to release a merit list soon, which is a prerequisite for the web options stage. The web options window, where candidates select college preferences, will only begin after the conclusion of the MCC NEET UG Round 1 counselling.

In Maharashtra, the State Common Entrance Test Cell is releasing a revised merit list on August 23. Candidates can submit grievances regarding the provisional list on August 24. The final merit list and seat matrix are scheduled for publication on August 25. The online choice-filling process is set to run from August 26 to August 29, with the CAP Round 1 seat allotment results expected on August 30.
