Nenad Markovic appointed head coach of Turkey's Karşıyaka Basketball

Karşıyaka Basketbol Kulübü announced that 58‑year‑old Nenad Marković has been appointed as the club's new head coach. The Turkish club highlighted Marković’s previous stint at Karşıyaka during the 2016‑17 season and his extensive European coaching résumé.

Marković began his coaching career at KK Bosna, later worked with Panionios, and led Trabzonspor to the EuroChallenge final in 2015. He captured the FIBA Intercontinental Cup with Tenerife in 2017 and has also coached Gaziantep Basketbol, JDA Dijon, Dinamo Sassari and Bursaspor. The club said his experience will help shape a competitive roster and strengthen the team’s playing identity for the upcoming season.
