NeOnc Technologies reports positive Phase 2a data for NEO100
NeOnc Technologies Holdings (NASDAQ: NTHI) has reported topline Phase 2a results for its intranasal NEO100 treatment targeting recurrent IDH1-mutant high-grade glioma. The company reported a 48.9% six-month progression-free survival rate, exceeding the prespecified historical benchmark of 20%.
Median overall survival was reported at 26.09 months. At the six-month mark, 86.7% of patients were alive, with survival rates of 60.9% at 12 months and 54.1% at 24 months.
NEO100 is designed to utilize a non-invasive nose-to-brain delivery method to overcome the blood-brain barrier. The drug has received FDA Orphan Drug, Fast Track, and Rare Pediatric Disease designations. NeOnc plans to request a Type B FDA meeting to discuss a registrational development path. Additionally, the company has received UAE IND authorization for its NEO100 programs.
