Nepal floods leave 477 dead as rescue efforts continue

The Nepali Army is conducting rescue operations for survivors trapped in a hydroelectric tunnel following massive flooding in a border region between northern Nepal and southwestern Tibet, China.

Authorities have increased the death toll from the floods to 477 people. Officials report that more than 3,200 individuals have been rescued or received medical attention following the disaster.
