Nepal releases songs for Eurovision Asia 2026 national selection

Himalaya TV, the Nepalese national broadcaster, has released song snippets for ‘Nepal Decides’, the national selection process to determine which act will represent Nepal at the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Eleven competing acts and their songs have been revealed, including performers such as Allam Aadesh, Amit Baral, Amrita Limbu, Beyond, Bullet Flo x Preeti Kaur, Meghna Gewali, Nirmala Ghale, Pratik Himal Rai, Prithvi Khanal, RC Rimal, and Suraj Tamang.

The selection show was originally scheduled for September 19 but was postponed due to recent flash flooding in northern Nepal and neighboring Tibet, affecting districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Tanahun. The televised national final is now set to take place on October 7.
