Netflix and Prime Video remove various titles from catalogs

Major streaming platforms Netflix and Prime Video are removing various titles from their libraries during September 2026.

Netflix will remove eight anime titles. ‘Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato’ is scheduled to depart on September 12, 2026. Other titles leaving by the end of the month include ‘Death Note’, ‘Kuroko’s Basketball’, both seasons of ‘The Quintessential Quintuplets’, the ‘The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie’, and three Resident Evil CG productions: ‘Damnation’, ‘Degeneration’, and ‘Vendetta’.

Prime Video is also updating its catalog. Notable departures include the drama series ‘The Rookie’, ‘2 Broke Girls’, and ‘Sherlock’. Other titles leaving the service include ‘Kommissarin Lund – Das Verbrechen’, ‘PSG Oh Stadt des Lichts’, and several anime series such as ‘How a Realist Hero Rebuilt a Kingdom’ and ‘Ragna Crimson’.
