Netflix anime catalog updates for August 2026

The 2011 adaptation of "Hunter x Hunter" will leave Netflix’s library on 31 July 2026, after the licensing agreement with the rights holders expires. The series, based on Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga, will remain available on Crunchyroll.

Netflix also announced its August 2026 anime slate, adding new titles such as a film inspired by Osamu Tezuka’s classic "Princess Knight," an English dub of the popular series "Banana Fish," and other upcoming releases scheduled throughout the month.
