Netflix announces new cast for Finding Her Edge season 2
Netflix and WildBrain have announced new cast members for the second season of the teen drama series Finding Her Edge. The production is currently filming on location in Southern Ontario and is expected to continue through December.
New series regulars include newcomer Nikita J Olechko as Andrej, British actress Niamh Blackshaw as Freya, and Matthew Finlan as David. Canadian singer-songwriter Johnny Orlando will join the cast as Jesse, while Olympic medal-winning figure skater Elvis Stojko will play Kevin, the owner of Voltage Academy. Recurring roles will be filled by Justine Nelson, Saara Chaudry, and Matt Wells.
The second season follows the Russo sisters as they transition from their family rink to the highly competitive Voltage Academy. The narrative will focus on the pressures of pursuing National Team ambitions and the complicated romantic dynamics involving characters Adriana, Brayden, and Freddie.
