Netflix announces return of ‘Lupin’ with fourth season

Netflix has released the trailer for the fourth installment of the popular series ‘Lupin’, which is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 23. Omar Sy returns as the protagonist, Assane Diop.

The new season takes place three years after the previous installment. Assane is currently imprisoned and intends to serve his sentence to fulfill a promise to his son to visit family in Senegal. However, his plans are disrupted when a series of museum robberies occur, all bearing the signature of ‘Lupin’.

Despite Assane’s denials, security footage appears to implicate him, and Captain Belkacem is seriously injured during one of the heists. To prove his innocence and discover who is using his identity, Assane must escape from prison and reluctantly reclaim his persona as the master thief.
