Netflix increases subscription prices across multiple tiers

Netflix is implementing price increases across its subscription tiers. The most significant proportional hike affects the ad-supported basic plan, which is rising from 4.99 euros to 6.99 euros per month, representing a 40% increase.

Other plans are also seeing a 2-euro monthly increase. The Standard plan without ads will rise from 13.99 euros to 15.99 euros, while the Premium plan will increase from 19.99 euros to 21.99 euros. These adjustments do not include improvements to service quality, resolution, or additional features. For example, the Premium plan maintains its 4K HDR resolution and four simultaneous streams despite the higher cost.
