Physical 100: Mexico debuts on Netflix with elite athletes

Netflix has launched ‘Physical 100: Mexico’, a high-performance sports competition featuring 100 athletes from across the Mexican Republic. The series adapts the South Korean franchise, utilizing challenges focused on strength, agility, and endurance to eliminate contestants until a single winner remains.

The Mexican roster includes notable figures such as former world champion boxer Juan Francisco ‘Gallo’ Estrada and Olympic middle-distance runner Jesús Tonatiú López. Other competitors include mixed martial artist Luis ‘Pride’ Escudero and obstacle-course racer Aldo Marquez, who recently won the Pro Men division at the HYROX Mexico City event.

Marquez, who participated in the Monolith and Sacrifice challenges during the season, has transitioned his focus toward international HYROX competitions following his appearance on the show.
