Netflix expansion of Physical 100 franchise

Netflix is expanding its global footprint for the South Korean reality competition series ‘Physical: 100’ through regional adaptations.

In Mexico, the adaptation titled ‘Habilidad física 100: México’ is scheduled to premiere on September 16, 2026. The program will feature 100 participants, including athletes, bodybuilders, wrestlers, and military specialists, competing in challenges involving strength, endurance, speed, and strategy to determine the ‘ultimate athlete of Mexico’.

In Italy, the series ‘Physical Italia: da 100 a 1’ will be released in four installments starting September 11. Produced by Endemol Shine Italy, the eight-episode season features 100 contestants from sports and entertainment sectors competing at the Lingotto arena. Notable participants include Olympic medalist Tania Cagnotto and swimming icon Federica Pellegrini. The Italian competition focuses on physical endurance and determination.
