Netflix raises subscription prices in Morocco

Netflix has informed its Moroccan subscribers that subscription fees will increase starting 20 August. The price rise coincides with the implementation of a 20 % value‑added tax on foreign digital services in Morocco.

The Essentiel plan will go from 37 to 45 dirhams per month, the Standard plan from 65 to 80 dirhams, and some higher‑tier offers will reach 115 dirhams. Emails notifying users were sent in late July. Netflix said the adjustment is part of its effort to continue developing the service and expanding its content library.
