Lupin Season 4 premieres on Netflix with eight new episodes

The French thriller series ‘Lupin’ returns to Netflix with its fourth season, consisting of eight episodes. Set four years after the conclusion of the third season, the story follows Assane Diop, portrayed by Omar Sy, who is currently serving a prison sentence.

While Diop intends to complete his term and relocate to Senegal to reunite with his family, his plans are disrupted by a mysterious criminal using the Lupin identity to orchestrate simultaneous museum heists across France. Using advanced technology such as deepfakes and hacking, the impostor frames Diop for the crimes, forcing him to escape prison to clear his name.

The new season explores themes of identity and justice as Diop faces a rival who utilizes his own signature methods. The plot also involves a pursuit of the French Crown Jewels and a confrontation with old adversaries, including Hubert Pellegrini.
