Netflix releases K-drama ‘Um Choque de Amor’

The Netflix original series ‘Um Choque de Amor’ (A Shock of Love) has premiered on the streaming platform. The ten-episode drama follows the story of Na Bo Bae, a writer with the ability to generate electricity, which prevents her from having physical contact with others.

The plot centers on her encounter with Baek Ho Rang, a luxury resort heir who possesses an artificial heart. Because Na Bo Bae’s electrical abilities can recharge his battery-powered heart, the two enter a three-month arrangement. This deal is intended to stabilize his health before a future surgery while allowing Na Bo Bae to experience the romantic milestones necessary for her writing.
