Netflix series Académie Minerva concludes first season

The first season of the Italian Netflix series ‘Académie Minerva’ concludes with the resolution of the mystery surrounding Francesco’s disappearance. It is revealed that Francesco is alive but chose to leave the military academy and sever ties with his peers after being subjected to humiliation and physical aggression by older students. This violence was triggered by the public exposure of a letter in which Francesco expressed his feelings for Diego.

In the finale, Achille Giordano, the academy commander, faces pressure regarding the institution's internal violence. Although he seeks to address the accusations brought by Bonaiuto, the Ministry of Defense advises treating the matter as an isolated incident to protect the academy's reputation. Consequently, Achille decides to expel Diego from the school. The season ends with various characters facing the consequences of their actions and the shifting dynamics of their relationships within the academy.
