Netflix series ‘Our Sticky Love’ enters global Top 10

The new South Korean Netflix original series, ‘Our Sticky Love’, has achieved significant global viewership following its August 7 premiere. The 12-episode series entered the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV chart for the August 3–9 period, recording 3.2 million views during its debut week.

Described as a blend of romantic comedy and noir suspense, the plot follows Go Eun-sae (played by Ha Young), a woman who wakes up with dissociative amnesia and no knowledge of her identity. She is met by Jang Tae-ha (played by Jung Hae-in), a former boxing champion turned trainer, who claims to be her boyfriend. As the story progresses, the lighthearted romance incorporates elements of crime and mystery, as Eun-sae attempts to uncover her past while navigating a relationship involving hidden secrets and a dangerous criminal underworld.

The series is directed by Kim Jang-han and written by Mo Ji-hye. It has gained traction by appealing to both traditional K-drama romance audiences and viewers interested in thriller and suspense genres.
