The Netflix thriller ‘Elize: Surgie de l’ombre’ has gained significant international attention, reaching the top of Netflix film charts in 31 countries, including Spain. Directed by Felipe Vellas, the film is inspired by the real-life case of Elize Matsunaga, who was convicted in 2012 for the murder and dismemberment of her husband in Brazil.
