Netflix adds 35 Cantinflas films to its catalog

Netflix has added a collection of 35 films starring the iconic Mexican comedian Mario Moreno, known as Cantinflas, to its streaming catalog. The initiative, titled “Que México se vea”, serves as a tribute to the actor and celebrates the 15th anniversary of Netflix in Mexico.

The collection spans nearly four decades of his career, offering approximately 66 hours of content. Featured titles include classics such as “El gendarme desconocido”, “Si yo fuera diputado”, “Su excelencia”, “El padrecito”, “El bolero de Raquel”, and “El analfabeto”.

This addition aims to introduce the work of one of the most significant figures of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema to younger generations. The special selection is scheduled to remain available on the platform until March 2027.
