Netflix to release new dorama “Take Charge of My Heart” on October 9

Netflix has announced the release date for the new dorama “Take Charge of My Heart” (Um Choque de Amor), scheduled to premiere on October 9. Based on a Naver web novel, the series blends romance, fantasy, and comedy.

The story follows Na Bo Bae (Chae Soo Bin), a writer who possesses the unique ability to generate electricity due to a childhood lightning strike. She enters a deal with Baek Ho Rang (Kim Young Kwang), a chaebol heir with an artificial heart who requires her electrical energy to survive. In exchange, she seeks the opportunity to fulfill her romantic bucket list.
