Netflix updates streaming library with anime additions and film removals

Netflix is undergoing library updates involving both the removal of international titles and the addition of popular anime content.

Several films are scheduled to depart the platform between August 17 and August 23, 2026. Notable removals include Argentine productions such as ‘Crane World’ (1999), ‘White Elephant’ (2012), and the crime drama ‘Carancho’ (2010).

In contrast, the anime series ‘One-Punch Man’ is set for a significant expansion on the platform. While the series has been available in some regions, Netflix USA will debut all seasons starting August 25, 2026. This follows previous delays in the series' availability and recent discussions regarding animation quality shifts between studios Madhouse and J. C. Staff.
