Netflix’s Extraction 3 adds Pierce Brosnan to cast

Netflix is moving forward with production for the action film ‘Extraction 3’, starring Chris Hemsworth as mercenary Tyler Rake. Filming is currently underway in Australia.

Pierce Brosnan has joined the cast for the third installment, marking his first appearance in the successful action franchise. Other confirmed cast members include Don Lee, Joe Taslim, Chi Lewis-Parry, and Siena Agudong, joining returning actors Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani. Sam Hargrave returns to direct the film, which is produced by the Russo brothers and Hemsworth’s production company, Wild State.

In preparation for the role, Hemsworth has adopted a ‘strength and conditioning’ training regimen designed to mimic the demands of long, continuous action sequences. His routine utilizes minimal equipment, such as kettlebells and resistance bands, focusing on high-intensity circuits to build both strength and endurance.
