Netherlands Dressage Events Highlight Regional Championships and Junior Success

Five top dressage mares from South Holland headed to the National Merriekeuring, held at Manege De Prinsenstad in Delft, after a successful regional show. The European Dressage Championships for children and juniors in Olomouc saw the junior team win bronze, while the children class fell to fifth place after a horse tested positive for blood.

In Heeze, about 30 riders competed in the De Zeeuwse Verzekeringen KFPS dressage selection, with Melanie Potappel‑Mouthaan winning both Z1 tests on Davidoff TKJ. Other classes produced multiple winners, including Demi van Nispen in M1 and L1, and Angelique Hendrickx‑Denen and Lisa Stevens sharing top spots in M2. The series culminates in the Dutch National Championships for Friese horses on 19‑20 September 2026 in Houten.
